Involved in the health industry for many years as a geriatric nurse, I’ve worked to support the elderly, people with intellectual and physical disability in management positions through the Endevour Foundation in Queensland, providing in-home support for the Department of Health and Human Services in both Queensland and Tasmania, has given me a greater insight into counselling.
In 2004 I experienced a shift in awareness that was life changing, leading to a unique way of seeing myself, others, and the world around me.
Issues I struggled with began to resolve. Synchronicity manifested through a series of wonderful events, and I found myself in a course of study with the Australian Institute of Professional Counselling:
- Diploma of Professional Counselling, and
