Are You at Peace? Test Your Thinking Out Now!

Thank you for subscribing

Mood disorders can be debilitating and definitely take you out of your

peace and comfort zone!

Depression, anxiety and stress are real mood de-stabilizers.

Where do you sit on the Feel Good Tool for Self Awareness scale?

Many of us seem to function in the space of 5 and above and think that this is normal! We are so used to it, that it is simply automatic, and it seems out of our control!

Your love is either flowing or it is not!

What do we all seek?

Answer: A space of peace, calmness and love.

The good news is that we can only seek what we have experienced, either in ourselves, or by observing it in someone else.

By mood tracking, or self monitoring how far you are from a state of peace, calm, and love, you can gain awareness of your moods and the relating symptoms.

If there is any body tension within me … I am not at peace. If there is any mind questioning going on … I am not at peace. Having information about these changes, through conscious awareness of what is happening within me, can help me regain control over ‘peace-less-ness’ (anxiety and depression) and enable myself, through self empowerment, to make the choice for peace.

This simple mood tracking tool can help you to ‘keep a finger on your mood pulse’ and provide you with information about how you are responding to your choices of treatments.

Whether this is through supportive medication, and/or through self empowerment with Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), this mood tracking tool will enable you to report effectively to your doctor and your therapist about how you are responding to the treatments and evidence based practices, identifying what works for you, and where there may be need for a change of direction.

The strengthening of your awareness of your moods, and your management of them, is a key factor in the regulation and eradication of mood disorders. Identifying the subconscious and unconscious thoughts that you destabilize from, and the following tension that results in your body, will help you to identify unconscious patterns that seem to keep you in a constant state of depression or anxiety.

Once you have identified the old unconscious tapes that are playing deep in your mind, you are able to press ‘pause’ and bring them to a stop!

That’s right! You can have control over your moods!

Repeat after me, “I make me feel….”

The problem is that the old tapes are playing out faster than we can think. So fast that we do not know we have even unconsciously thought them! Then we project the discomfort that we feel from playing those tapes out on to other people or other events.

The mind that accepts ‘non-peace’ can not be at ‘peace’! Check out this short half minute video then read on below:

The secret key, then, is to start creating new mind tapes and making them a new habit!

Watching your thoughts and body tension levels with awareness helps you to identify new thoughts, the loving truth about you, and helps you put your self into a space where you can practice being with these new mind tapes over, and over, until they become the new unconscious tapes that play quietly in the background all the time, replacing the old ones!

Here is an easy chart where you can start to record your old tapes and begin to design some new ones to begin practicing, but remember; new habits will take a little time to build, so why not start today:

Test your thinking

“As I am not at peace, I must have decided against peace. I made the decision myself! But I can also decide otherwise. I will to decide otherwise because I want peace….”

"I do not feel guilty because the spirit of love will undo all the consequences of my adverse decision if I will allow it….I will to allow it … by allowing myself to decide for the spirit of love within me….What would the spirit of love do now….. For me and for others … ?” (A Course in Miracles)
